*The Ministry 🚨HEALTH ALERT🚨

*The Ministry of Health and Child Care will be conducting a National Immunisation campaign on*

1️⃣ *Typhoid Conjugate Vaccine (TCV)*  which prevents and protects against Typhoid *(denda remanyoka)* in children from 9  months to below 15 years

2️⃣ *Human Papilloma Virus Vaccine (HPVV)*  to prevent and protect against Cervical cancer *(gomarara rechibereko)* in grade 5 and 6 girls or 10 - 11 year old girls out of school, as well as Grade 7 girls who received their first dose in 2019

3️⃣ *Inactivated Polio Vaccine (IPV)*  which prevents and protects against Polio *(chirwere cheMhetamakumbo)* in children born between *24 January 2016 and 24 December 2018* and 

4️⃣ *Vitamin A Supplementation* targeting every child from *6 months-59 months* who did not receive the dose in the last 28 days.Vitamin A helps to prevent blindness *(kudzivirira upofu)*

⚪ The dates for the campaign are from *24 May - 4 June 2021* at all *Health facilities, Schools  and Outreach points*

*Dont be left out, protect your child by bringing them for vaccination*
